Plesk uses web servers for web hosting and managing websites. Plesk for Linux uses the Apache HTTP Server (http://httpd.apache.org/) that is supplemented with the nginx reverse proxy server for better performance. Plesk for Windows uses the IIS HTTP Server (http://www.iis.net/). This chapter provides the information about adjusting the web servers’ configuration and optimization of their work.
